The Raiers have built themselves a home in the void using various magic items.

From a distance, this looks like a massive (5 mile diameter), spherical black bubble, with an iron tower sticking out of the top. The bubble is a force field that protects the interior from the conditions outside and has a DR of 1,000.

The inside of the bubble projects an illusion of a normal day in a temperate zone and maintains conditions similar to this, including gravity and sunlight.

The tower sticking out of the bubble is made of meteoric iron and is the only way in or out that doesn't require breaking through the bubble's DR.

• The Barracks - The Raiders live here, in relative luxury; they have soft beds and other useful amenities.
• The Brothel - The Raiders keep a number of slaves here as prostitutes.
• The Farm - The Raiders raise crops here to feed themselves. The workers are slaves overseen by Raiders with agricultural experience.
• The Slave Pen - This large pen is where the slaves are kept while they're not working. They're guarded 24/7.
• The Tower of Iron - This provides the entrance/exit to/from the tower. The basement of the tower houses magic items that maintain this fortress.
• The Water Tower - The Raiders have built a wooden tower near the farm to hold drinking and irrigation water. This comes from the Plane of Water via a Horn of Water.

Due to the cruel nature of the Raiders, the slaves are generally in bad shape and most have given up hope of rescue. Some have been broken so far as to have gained the Slave Mentality Disadvantage. At the very least, most of the slaves have a very jaded attitude and are doing little more than waiting to die.

Most of the slaves come from the memory bubbles that appear in the void from time to time.

The bubble and the conditions inside are produced by a collection of magic items the Raiders have come across and/or built over the years. These are housed in the basement of the tower and are well guarded.

The ground inside the bubble is actual earth from the Plane of Earth, summoned using a Horn of Earth. It is very rich, fertile ground.
