This is a more general version of the Warp-based Range Limit Limitation on p. B99. This restricts ranged abilities that have no upper limit, such as Detect, to a maximum range.

To apply this Limitation, choose a maximum range on whatever range table the ability normally uses and look up the penalty for this range. This Limitation is worth -5% x (10 + penalty of maximum range). Range Limit with a -10 or worse penalty is not a significant Limitation.
