The Elves of Crescent Island are expert ship builders. The Couriers are their biggest customer.

This kingdom is currently locked in a state of cold war with the neighboring Dwarven kingdom, Iron Hall. This is mostly over an old trade dispute involving the bridge between the two islands.

Thandel Dael is the queen of the elves. She is rarely seen anymore; her children handle most of the affairs of the kingdom in her stead.

The kingdom of Theris is closely allied with the Elves. The king of Theris spent much of his youth serving in Thandel's court as a knight and eventually married her youngest daughter, a Half-Elf. Thandel has been a friend to the the rulers of Theris for three generations now.
